My flight was on 14.03.2012 @ 7am, and it only took 1hr journey to reach Phuket airport from LCCT.
As I booked with the package for Free Airport transfer from airport to the hotel, there was a tour guide waiting right outside the exist door with our name on the small board...After clarifying & confirming on the identification, we proceed to the hotel.
I stayed at this hotel ~ Patong Bay Inn. Basically a budget hotel with free breakfast & wifi access.
With simple & cozy room.....
Soon after lunch, our tour guide picked us up from the hotel & brought us for half day Phuket City Tour.
We arrived at Karon View Point, sightseeing the most famous observation point consist of the 3 crescent shape beaches connecting together, Kata Noi, Kata Beach and Karon Beach.
Located on the road half-way between Nai Harn Beach and Kata Noi Beach. From this spot, an intriguing view of the 3 beaches and Ko Pu has constantly impresses us. From the top view point is a wonderful panoramic view of the Andaman Sea, we stop there for taking photos.
We then visited the elephant camp. I did not go for the elephant trekking coz it cost MYR 80 per person for 30mins. Sound expensive to me....
We visited the new born elephant baby ~ name TONG YIB
This is Tong Yib, age 2 weeks at that point of time., she kept sleeping....
My husband & I fed the mummy elephant. And I so scared the mummy will use her nose hit me...
According to our tour guide ~ Ms Abee, she mentioned that to the local belief. we can pray for a baby by touching the elephant.
Guess what...of course, we did.
We then went to Chalong Wat, they called it celebration of temple.
Then, we headed to souvenir shops, cashew nut factory & the honey farm.
We reached our hotel at about 6pm. Quite a tiring but really enjoyable half day trip.
